CIA Director John Ratcliffe, in a Fox News interview, confirmed the agency's hotline is open and emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader initiative to collect intelligence critical to U.S. national security. He reaffirmed that the campaign is designed to penetrate China’s tightly controlled information ecosystem, using encrypted platforms like Telegram and Tor to offer safe contact methods.
