For the entire year, the total reached 24,000, exceeding the sum of the previous ten years.
CBP agents have warned the National Security Council that these individuals are not just illegal immigrants; they may also be active-duty military personnel instructed by the CCP. The 'New' Opium War: A Fentanyl Storm Sweeping Across America

Chinese gangs have allied with Mexican drug cartels, using Mexican factories and distribution networks to sell large quantities of fentanyl into the United States in exchange for a lot of cash. Reports from the DEA show that at least 90% of fentanyl manufacturing is related to China; CBP statistics also indicate that in the fiscal years 2016 and 2017, 97% of fentanyl seizures and manufacturing globally originated from China.
This year, new research has further confirmed the close connection between the CCP and the fentanyl storm. A new book 'Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans,' written by the president of the Government Accountability Institute, Schweizer, mentioned that many people involved in transporting, manufacturing, and selling fentanyl are high-ranking officials of the CCP; and every link in this network is a carefully planned action by China.
Across the United States, there are drug abusers of fentanyl in major cities. They are paralyzed, weak in their limbs, with inflamed and ulcerated skin, and can only move slowly like zombies, eventually dying from overdose. According to data released by the CDC, the number of deaths from drug overdose has skyrocketed in the past decade, finally surpassing 100,000 in 2023—nearly 70% of which are related to opioids such as fentanyl.
