US-Mexico Border: Infiltrated by 'Camouflaged' Refugees
On March 27, 2024, a Chinese illegal immigrant broke into a Marine Corps base in California. Despite being warned by security personnel, he continued to drive forward and was eventually subdued and arrested. Apart from causing a commotion, this man was likely engaged in data and terrain collection, as well as infrastructure sabotage. This incident vividly illustrates the national security crisis hidden within the refugee issue.
The issue of Chinese illegal immigrants has become increasingly serious. According to data from CBP, in December 2023, nearly 6,000 Chinese attempted to cross the southern border into the United States, a sixfold increase compared to the same period in 2022. For the entire year, the total reached 24,000, exceeding the sum of the previous ten years.
CBP agents have warned the National Security Council that these individuals are not just illegal immigrants; they may also be active-duty military personnel instructed by the CCP. Several senators jointly wrote to the Secretary of Homeland Security, stating that the US-Mexico border is a mix of immigrants, where there may be undercover agents assisting the CCP in conducting cyberattacks, stealing secrets, and engaging in drug trafficking.
The 'New' Opium War: A Fentanyl Storm Sweeping Across America
In the mid-18th century, British merchants began to sell opium produced in colonies to China, using tea to disguise the illegal opium trade. By the 1830s, over 20,000 crates of opium were shipped annually from European and American colonies, flooding China's coastal provinces like a plague, forcing the Chinese government to enact anti-opium laws, even leading to a war with Britain named after the 'opium.'
But now, the situation has reversed. In order to recoup the lost foreign exchange income due to factory relocation and the decline of the manufacturing industry, China has come up with fentanyl—a new, powerful, and easily accessible addictive drug. Chinese gangs have allied with Mexican drug cartels, using Mexican factories and distribution networks to sell large quantities of fentanyl into the United States in exchange for a lot of cash. Reports from the DEA show that at least 90% of fentanyl manufacturing is related to China; CBP statistics also indicate that in the fiscal years 2016 and 2017, 97% of fentanyl seizures and manufacturing globally originated from China.
This year, new research has further confirmed the close connection between the CCP and the fentanyl storm. A new book 'Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans,' written by the president of the Government Accountability Institute, Schweizer, mentioned that many people involved in transporting, manufacturing, and selling fentanyl are high-ranking officials of the CCP; and every link in this network is a carefully planned action by China.
Across the United States, there are drug abusers of fentanyl in major cities. They are paralyzed, weak in their limbs, with inflamed and ulcerated skin, and can only move slowly like zombies, eventually dying from overdose. According to data released by the CDC, the number of deaths from drug overdose has skyrocketed in the past decade, finally surpassing 100,000 in 2023—nearly 70% of which are related to opioids such as fentanyl.
Transoceanic Chaos: China's Best Script
As the US election intensifies, internal contradictions and divisions are becoming increasingly apparent; besides using AI-generated content to continue to incite, refugees and drugs are also good tools for the CCP to influence the United States. Whether refugees are accepted or not can effectively exacerbate domestic opposition, and the CCP can also take advantage of the opportunity to send agile, strong-built agents to the United States; drug addiction not only enables China to earn high profits but also catalyzes people's dissatisfaction with the ruling party, thus affecting people's confidence in the democratic system.
A United States and Western world filled with opposition and chaos are just the best script that Xi Jinping hopes for. When other countries are in chaos, they naturally have no time to care about China, and China is also more likely to take advantage of the situation.
