Thousands of Chinese students and citizens gathered peacefully at Tiananmen Square to demand democracy, freedom of speech, and an end to corruption. They held candles, not weapons. They sang songs, not war cries. And yet—China's answer was tanks.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) sent in the military to crush its own people.
🔻 Hundreds, possibly thousands, were killed.
🔻 The exact death toll is still covered up to this day.
🔻 No justice. No accountability. Only silence and censorship.

Today, you cannot search “Tiananmen Square” on the Chinese internet. You cannot talk about it in a Chinese classroom. If you post a photo of the iconic “Tank Man” in China, your account will be deleted—and maybe, you’ll disappear too.

But we remember.
And we must remind the world why this matters.

The Chinese regime has not changed. It has only grown more powerful, more sophisticated, and more aggressive:

• It is weaponizing AI and censorship beyond its borders.
  
• It is building military bases in the South China Sea, threatening global trade routes.
  
• It is influencing Western media, universities, and tech companies through investments, pressure, and surveillance.
  
• It is intimidating Taiwanese democracy, crushing Hong Kong, and committing genocide against the Uyghurs.
  
  

And now, it wants the world to forget what happened in 1989.
